Relapse Behaviors/Return to The Use of
Psychoactive Substances”. As
indicated, the top five reported factors for
relapse are: (1) boredom, (2) depression,
(3) stress, (4) loneliness, and (5)
low self-esteem.
The structure and support, offered by HFT,
addresses these top (five) issues to
relapse. In addition, the
professionally certified counseling assists
clients develop operative skills to address:
complacency; anger; shame; guilt; impulse
control; stress management; cognitive
re-structuring; relationships; spirituality;
depressive symptoms, and
grandiose/egotistical thinking.
